Abashiri, Hokkaido, situated in the coast of Okhostk sea, is a popular place to see ice-floe. Ice floes arrive in Abashiri every year in late January.

Lovely. I was there for the sunset cruise, so it was a different kind of setting. It was dark by the time we reached back to the port.
i didn't know you had been up to wakanai... that's the most northern part of japan, right?
btw, i wonder how romantic ur trip was... haha

just the name of the port is Wakanai, not the place name. We didnt go to Wakanai.
