Abashiri 網走

Abashiri, Hokkaido, situated in the coast of Okhostk sea, is a popular place to see ice-floe. Ice floes arrive in Abashiri every year in late January.

The bluish white ice-floes.

Light house at Wakkanai Port, where the tourist ferry departs.

Lovely. I was there for the sunset cruise, so it was a different kind of setting. It was dark by the time we reached back to the port.
