It is already 1 year since I arrived in Kyoto.
I was pretty uncertain if leaving my job in Malaysia for my master degree in Hydraulics was a right choice.
After leaving the unversity for more than 3 years, I could not recall any basic fluid mechanics formula, needless to say those complicated open channel flow and hydraulic structure design.
The whole first year was tough for me, as I did not only suffer short term memory lost and slow learning ability, (I am growing older ..haha ), but also needed to pick up a new foreign language, which I believe many people would say it is not a simple language.
All along the way, I was cheered up by a group of very supportive and caring friends.
You know who you are.. thank you very much...
Now, it is April again, the most beautiful month of all (in my opinion), and also the most memorable one for Japanese, as new university intake, graduation and new employment will be held in April.
I believe April is also a very special month for all of us, the foreign student in Kyoto University.
It marks the starting point for all of us.
The Tulip I planted last winter finally bloom !
